Koichi Yasui is a well・known sound seeker who deeply inherited the traditional German pianism from his mentor Konrad Hansen (Edwin Fischer's brother, best known for his excellent performance in Beethoven's 4th Concerto with Frutwengler).Even after leaving Kunitachi College of Music, he has been performing with his son, cellist Sotaro Yasui, and others, and his beautiful sound and high-quality music have attracted deep-rooted fans. This CD is a live recording of a piano trio concert held at Sapporo Fukinoto Hall in 2021/10/21, and it is a beautiful recording of the skill of a master who inspired 2 young string musicians to take them to the paradise of music and the conversation of flexible sound.
