    Gustave Klopp est narcoleptique. Il s'endort n'importe où, n'importe quand, ses fréquentes crises de sommeil sont aussi brutales qu'inattendues. Si cette maladie constitue un véritable handicap pour sa vie professionnelle, elle lui permet cependant de vivre, dans ses rêves, des aventures inoubliables. À peine endormi, Gustave devient Klopp, un super-héros invincible et vengeur… Gus partage sa vie entre Pam, sa femme, qui tient une onglerie et qui rêve, elle, à des jours meilleurs, et Lenny Bar, son meilleur ami, karatéka approximatif, disciple inconditionnel de Jean-Claude Vandamme. Ce petit monde est prédestiné à une vie simple et pépère, dans une petite ville qui sent bon le bonheur et la sérénité. Mais Gus a décidé de " bouger son cul ", comme le lui a demandé si gentiment Pam, et a entamé une thérapie de groupe. Son psy, Samuel pupkin, a découvert que Gus transforme ses rêves en incroyables bandes dessinées. Aidé par Guy Bennet, un comique raté reconverti dans l'édition, ils décident de s'approprier l'oeuvre de ce génie méconnu. Pour cela, une seule solution, se débarrasser de Gustave Klopp.
