This 6-CD set chronicles over twenty years of stunning creative output from jazz luminary Lennie Tristano offering listeners the most comprehensive portrait of Tristano’s musical genius available.

Beam Me Up is Shauli Einav's fifth album as a leader, but his first as a new father. This is worth mentioning because jazz is, as we all know, something that is lived. How could such a momentous change not manifest itself in one's music? Here, it's quite evident though nothing about the album itself speaks directly to fatherhood or childhood. In a brief liner note, Einav ruminates on those magical moments when music transports one into the present moment, away from life's banal mundanities.

Masayoshi Takanaka is a Japanese guitarist, composer, and producer. He was born in 1953 in the Shinagawa ward in Tokyo, Japan. Takanaka's music was influential in the city pop genre of the late 1970s and '80s.

Kaoru Abe (May 5, 1949 – September 9, 1978) was a Japanese avant-garde alto saxophonist. Self-taught at a young age, Abe performed with notables such as Motoharu Yoshizawa, Takehisa Kosugi, Yosuke Yamashita, Derek Bailey, and Milford Graves, although he generally performed solo. He was married to the author Izumi Suzuki, and was a cousin to singer Kyu Sakamoto. He was portrayed in Kōji Wakamatsu's film Endless Waltz by novelist and punk rock singer Kō Machida.

Out now is A Light on the Hill, a new album which is a tribute to Ant's music and also a gift from the German Genesis Fan Club for his 70th birthday on 23rd December 2021. The proceeds from the sale of the album are being donated to the Corona Kuensterhilfe, a German charity that supports artists during the COVID crisis. A Light on the Hill features fourteen Anthony Phillips classics re-worked by fourteen musicians from all over Germany in a virtual alliance called The Ant Band, plus a special guest appearance from Steve Hackett, who contributed a guitar solo on the version of F Sharp, which formed the basis of The Musical Box.

MDS is 100% Cantal, MDS is a project founded in 1995 to play modern progressive rock strongly inspired by PORCUPINE TREE and BLACKFIELD. After releasing three albums, they reformed with a new line-up in 2014 and released their 3rd album here on a sound that was also reshaped, atmospheric and nervous, dubious and intimate, limit post rock at times. MDS tells the true story of a woman suffering from psychiatric disorders who gives her soul to the devil and who will see her wish fulfilled by seeing him again in the guise of Breivik … thanks to him, you have the following chronicle, will you give your soul too?

Mother Morgana came to life as a Rock band in Graz, Austria. The band’s influences are rooted in different genres such as Jazz, Blues, Psychedelic and Progressive Rock. The all-curious four-member band soon started implementing complex lyrics and storytelling, passionately and emotionally expressed by their energetic female singer and keyboarder. The result of mixing all the mentioned aspects was the concept album ,Endonautica’ in 2018, celebrating and adapting the story of Stanley Kubrik’s 2001: A Space Odyssey.

This is my most recent album, in the genre of what I would call Progressive Rock. That term defining (in my opinion), the type of music that was made famous throughout the 70s by bands such as Genesis, The Moody Blues and Pink Floyd. The music is soft, dark and melodic with the occasional edge, because that's the way I like it. So if your idea of Prog Rock is heavy metal and jazz fusion, then it is unlikely you will find anything of interest here. I do hope you enjoy though.. and thanks for listening.

The tracks on this album were written and recorded between autumn 2020 and summer 2021, at my kitchen table (mostly), with studio equipment consisting of a laptop, a small MIDI keyboard, a smartphone and a pair of headphones. The project started out as an experiment. I’d dabbled in songwriting before over the years, but always on guitar (and never with great results). Then, in 2017, I had to stop playing after a brain haemorrhage left me with slight coordination problems in my right hand. So when I decided to give music another shot in 2020, I knew I was going to have to work electronically.

Composer and Keyboardist Cody Carpenter has done it again with this remarkable album titled, "Balance Of Extremes". Featuring guest appearances from Gergo Borlai (drums), Jimmy Haslip (bass), Marco Sfogli (guitar), and John Spiker (mixing engineer). Produced by Cody Carpenter and Jimmy Haslip.

The Lume Project is the result of a collaboration between classical saxophonist Émilie Heurtevent and jazz saxophonist David Fettmann. Their friendship inspired them to work together on a shared artistic project that would fuse their musical identities. Their sound worlds quickly showed that they could serve as a bridge between their aesthetics; in particular those of the "colourist" composers such as Claude Debussy and Gabriel Fauré.
