It is with immense happiness that Boa Vista Jazz Records begins its activities and presents the inaugural album of its catalog: MONGIOVI TRIO (2020).

Third album by guitarist Dom Angelo Mongiovi, the album records the artistic development of the Pernambuco musician in his continuous search to translate into sounds the improbable, magnificent and, why not say, mystical event of the human experience.

The most attentive listener will find behind the notes and the inherent tension between thinking and acting of the musical performance a common thread that runs through the themes giving unity to the album, creating a narrative: the story of a very personal universe, even familiar, told by its protagonist. The poetry of Fiorina Mongiovi, sister of the instrumentalist, intervening the tracks enriches the program proposed by the musician.
