Norah Jones became instantly world famous with her 2002 debut album "Come Away With Me," selling more than 27 million albums. Since then, her silky smooth voice has been a constant companion for many millions of people. In the past, you could only guess how often a fan listens to their favorite album at home, but today you know almost exactly - "Come Away With Me" is one of the biggest streaming hits out there. Since then, Ms. Jones has added many fine and equally enduring albums to her discography. But what she's never done - even though her voice lends itself to such a feel-good theme - is record a Christmas album.

Until now. On her first Christmas album, "I Dream Of Christmas," she gives credit to some classics like "Winter Wonderland" and "White Christmas," but again relies primarily on her own songwriting as a 9-time Grammy Award winner. As a result, she manages to create a Christmas wonderland that never drifts into typical clichés. Instead, it adds an original work to the canon of Holiday classics that a great many people will still be listening to with delight 20 years from now.

"I've always loved Christmas music, but until now I never had the incentive to record a Christmas album," Norah says. "Then late last year, during lockdown, I listened to James Brown's "Funky Christmas" and Elvis' "Christmas Album," just to relive a familiar and comforting feeling. Then in January 2021, I suddenly thought about what it would be like to record my own Christmas album. I had enormous fun working on the project and finally going into the studio with it."
