Around 1970, Poland's Czerwone Gitary were huge in Germany from record sales and concert tours there. This prompted German label Amiga to issue the lp CZERWONE GITARY/ROTE GITARREN - WARSZAWA which was a greatest hits package containing many Klenczon-era tracks but providing a cool cover photo shot of the post-Klenczon band line-up with Dominik Konrad. It went blockbusters and the group decided that after Konrad quit, to rerecord their most famous songs again as a three piece and add German vocals by now-new-leader, Seweryn Krajewski. This collection spawned the hit rerecording of their 1967/68 Polish hit 'Takie Ladne Oczy' as 'Solche Schonen Augen'. It's really exciting to hear alternate versions of their old songs. Nice printed lyrics on the back and a non-psychedelic flower/guitar on the front!…
