British jazz musician Bob Wallis was one of the peak figures of the UK traditional jazz boom of the early 1960s with his Dixieland trumpet stylings and imaginative takes on New Orleans classics. Originally released in 1973, this remastered digital reissue presents the seven tracks of Doctor Jazz, including live recordings of standards such as China Boy and Snag It, this a classic, swinging collection from Wallis and his Storyville band.
