    Au début des années 30, Hans Pabst von Ohain, étudiant en physique, cherche un système susceptible d'améliorer la propulsion des avions à moteur et imagine le principe du «réacteur». Mais le premier essai de l'engin n'est pas concluant. Et il ignore que dans le même temps, un autre passionné d'aviation tente de mettre au point un système équivalent. Le Britannique Frank Whittle, pilote dans la Royal Air Force, a lui aussi compris que l'hélice n'est pas le meilleur des propulseurs. Mais il n'a que 22 ans, n'est pas ingénieur et son projet de réacteur est rejeté par la hiérarchie militaire. Il faudra à ces deux inventeurs une obstination hors du commun pour imposer leur vision. C'est chose faite le 28 août 1939 pour l'Allemand, avec le vol réussi du Heinkel HE 178, et le 15 mai 1941 pour le Britannique.

Flying into a murderous rage, the artist begins running loose through the city, leaving dead bodies in his wake, until he winds up back in the park where he began. Director Kim Hi-duk shot this feature in "real time," during less than four hours in one afternoon, using an armada of 20 film and video cameras set up in different locations; significantly, the film ends with the film running out in the cameras set in the park. Kim Hi-duk then edited his footage down to a compact 86 minutes.
