With heartbreaking lyrics and warm folk melodies, Kelsey Berrington is a singer/songwriter that delivers songs straight from the heart. Born and raised in Brisbane, Kelsey began busking with his acoustic guitar while still in high school, shortly moving on to playing small shows in his home town. While building his live set, he ventured to London where he took up residency at several venues and developed his heartfelt sound by gaining influence from the folk artists and singer-songwriters in the area. After returning home, he recorded and produced his debut album Matchsticks, which culminates his experiences into honest, nostalgic lyrics combined with gentle acoustic melodies. As an independent musician Kelsey relies completely on his performance and songwriting to survive and has been honing his skills through busking for the last few years.
