Zinc is the title of composer and saxophonist Marina Vallet's new work, a work that describes a vital moment of transition and regeneration.
Like Zinc, the themes that form part of this album become a game of energetic colors that define the musical personality of Marina Vallet, an outstanding saxophonist who, with her own voice, has developed a solid trajectory over the last decade.
In Zinc, Marina Vallet has collaborated closely with bassist Paco Weht, who has been in charge of arranging Vallet's originals for this album.
With this play of intensities, energies and colors, Zinc is the most luminous project of one of the most outstanding saxophonists on the current scene.
