The album's title track is a chorale-like piano piece, in which the melody occurs in an unorthodox low register, accompanied by high piano notes. The piece is written in the key of D-flat major, which provides a beautiful opening to the entire collection of songs.

Poëta Minora: The original version dates back to 2023. The rhythmic motif was loosely inspired by an improvisation by my former piano teacher. In this new piano version, I have incorporated this motif into a full harmonic accompaniment. The melody remains untouched, as does the wobbling 5/8 rhythm.

Charlotte: "The original version dates back to 2019. This composition is dedicated to my girlfriend, Charlotte. The piece begins with an intimate melody, which continues to expand before eventually returning to soft sounds, just as it began."

Nazareth: The original version dates back to 2019. Nazareth is shown as a city of longing and hope – a city where past, present and future are so closely linked. With this version, I seek to convey this longing and hope in as personal a way as possible, creating a melody with a sad and humble character.

Baroque Voyage: I found the inspiration for this new song in Bach's Prelude in C minor (BWV 847), nearly matching this harmonic scheme. The melody that I wrote takes an interesting journey through the scheme and finally ends in a transition from minor into major. The song, played as a waltz, has a gentle 6/8 flow.
