    This was never shunned by labels, nor called nasty names. In fact no label ever heard it. No one has heard it but me.

    It has sat, untouched, since the day it was finished nearly a year and a half ago, silent in the archives with so many others still yet to ever see the light of day. I don't know what causes any one's trajectory after its completion, any more than I know how on earth it became what it was in the first place. Thus, I don't know why now felt like the time to end its silence. Nor whether that decision was correct. As always, that judgment lies not with me.

    Maybe because it reminds of a time before my music and times took darker turns. Before my own heart turned, somewhat, to stone.

    Don't let them turn you into a statue of who you were. Who you said you would be. Who you can be.
