Svetlana Marinchenko is originally from Russia, Moscow. She started to play music when she was 17, after hearing Coltrain's Love Supreme. After 3 years of experience in music, she managed to get enrolled in the Musorgsky Colledge of Music. Svetlana studied with the famous Russian jazz pianist Andrey Kondakov. During the first year of study, Svetlana discovered herself as a composer and organized her own combo, Svetamuzika. Svetamuzika has participated in many international jazz festivals, such as "Close Encounters" Helsinki, Rajation Jazz Festival Helsinki and "Petrojazz" Sankt-Peterburg. They also played concerts in renowned jazz clubs in Russia and Finland, such as Igor Butman Club, Kozlov Club, JFC, Jazz Philharmonic. In 2015 Svetamuzika released their first album Present Simple on the Lable Art-Beat. The recording was attended by well-known and modern musicians from Russia and Germany, such as Anton Davidyants, Martin Miller, Peter Ivshin. After successful release in Moscow and Sankt-Peterburg, Svetamuzika went on a big tour of Russia.

Svetlana has also participated in two well-known Russian television programs: the first jazz show on Russian television, BIG JAZZ, and as an expert in fusion jazz in the program "Observer" ("Nabludatel).

In 2014, Svetlana reached the 3rd place at the Jazzcomposers Competition in Groningen (Holland) and also participated in the festival "Swinging Groningen".

Likewise, Svetlana won First Prize in Jazz at Steinway Competition 2016 and reached the Yamaha Competition Final.
In 2018 Svetlana participated in International Piano Competition in Langnau (Switzerland), where participant was selected by Aaron Goldberg.

And in 2019 Svetlana took first place on Kurt Maas Jazz Award.

Now, the young pianist has her own trio, called SVM3, where they present their own music as well as jazz standards in a modern way. Trio is a mix from jazz Folk und Hip-hop music with Texts and poetry. SVM3 called many rapturous feedbacks on german public and recently gave big concert in one of the famous clubs in Germany: Unterfahrt. Young virtuos musicians are full of passion for experimenting in compositions and solos, to keep intensity on a stage and at the same time to transmit deep emotional meaning of music.

Nowadays Svetlana works on her second Album "Letters to my little girl", which was recorded with israilen young drummer Ofri Nehemya (Shai Maestro, Avishai Kohen)
