25 Jahre "Masters Of Chant"! Limited 2CD Digipak Edition. Seit 25 Jahren begeistern GREGORIAN weltweit Millionen von Menschen mit ihrer Fähigkeit, nahtlos von klassischen Chorälen zu Pop- und Rock-Songs zu wechseln. Mit ihren choreografierten Shows haben sie zudem neue Maßstäbe gesetzt. Die Idee zu GREGORIAN entstand, als der Hamburger Hit-Produzent Frank Peterson (Andrea Bocelli, Sarah Brightman, José Carreras, Justin Timberlake, Backstreet Boys u.v.m.) im Jahr 1989 das königliche Kloster von San Lorenzo de El Escorial in Spanien besuchte. Dort fand er die Inspiration, altertümliche gregorianische Musik mit modernen Songs zu mischen – ein einzigartiges Soundexperiment. Peterson setzte die Idee erstmals mit Michael Cretu und dem weltweiten Sound-Phänomen „Enigma“ um. Das erste Album „MCMXC a.D.“ erschien 1990 und wurde schon nach kurzer Zeit ein weltweiter Erfolg.
Dieser sensationelle Triumph ebnete den Weg, die musikalische Idee mit GREGORIAN einen Schritt weiterzuentwickeln und als eigenständigen Music-Act zu etablieren. Millionenfach verkaufte Alben, über 1.400 Shows vor über 3,2 Mio. Konzertbesuchern sowie zahlreiche Gold- und Platin-Auszeichnungen später feiern GREGORIAN ab 2025 ihr 25-jähriges Jubiläum. Die Feierlichkeiten starten bereits im November 2024 mit der Veröffentlichung ihres neuen Albums "25/2025", gefolgt von einer großen Welttournee ab 18.01.2025. „25/2025“ - das große Jubiläumsalbum - enthält 30 Songs; 15 bekannte und beliebte GREGORIAN Hits in neuen Versionen sowie 15 brandneue Produktionen. Unter den neuen Songs befinden sich großartige Interpretationen bekannter Welthits von The Weeknd, Peter Gabriel, Depeche Mode, Ozzy Osbourne, Bruce Springsteen und weiteren Weltstars. „25/2025“ ist eine Hommage an die erfolgreiche Vergangenheit, sowie ein Ausblick in die Zukunft des weltweit erfolgreichsten Chors aller Zeiten.
