It's universal, from age 7 to 107, and that's what motivates Fred Pallem and his big-band of twelve musicians to work on a second opus: inventorizing melodies from different visual repertoires, without preconceptions. Finding nuggets, reawakening forgotten themes, reinvigorating the obvious.

Cartoons stay with us all our lives, and their music nests in our memories, sometimes with the flash of a long-heard theme tune, sometimes on a more discreet masterpiece that supports a narrative scene. Bringing back the emotion by playing this music allows us to listen to it in a new way, without the powerful support of images. To relive it, differently. Through the body. Or simply discover it in all its instrumental power.

The pleasure, never elitist despite the virtuosity of the orchestrations, of interpreting these themes for the musicians, can be felt when listening to these twelve tracks. A shared pleasure, to be enjoyed by the whole family!
