Whether you're a long-time fan of the band or new to their sound, this album is sure to leave a lasting impression and have you hitting repeat for more.

For ten years, trombonist Chris Lüers, saxophonist Adrian Hanack, keyboardist and electronic musician Umut Abaci, guitarist Florian Kiehn, bassist Falko Harriehausen and drummer Johannes Metzger have been performing as We Don't, Suck We Blow! - the band's music has always been as diverse as the musicians' individual musical preferences and learning experiences, offering an astonishingly unpredictable variety under the umbrella of jazz. It is all the more surprising that the impression of a postmodern clash never arises; linear song structures are reinvented with a high degree of collective identity. Funk, fusion, cool jazz, exotica, hip- and trip-hop, lounge pop and even metal can be detected in the completely unpretentious flow of this stable hexagon. We Don't, Suck We Blow! offer a broad horizon of influences, traditions, playing and listening styles that are rarely heard in this consistency. Full of unbridled anticipation for the next playful expression, behind which the next but one theme lurks, the band changes melodies, grooves, sounds and harmonic textures, pulls the rug out from under each other's playful feet or rides the merry-go-round together. “Chimneys” is a real experience!
