This first volume of duo performances by Jerry Garcia and David Grisman include seven master takes that were released on Garcia/Grisman, Shady Grove and Been All Around This World. The remaining 12 tracks, mostly from Not For Kids Only, were originally recorded as duos, but were embellished with percussion, fiddle, autoharp, vocal harmonies and yes, even insects, added while Jerry was out touring. They are presented here for the first time, in their original unadorned state. This project is available in the sonically superior Hi-Definition (24-bit, 96 kHz) format.
