After a long hiatus, we have some very exciting news to share with you all. Our new concept album titled “The Fox and the Bird” will be out June 2nd! We’ve been working together on this album for almost 3 years and we couldn’t be more proud of it. This story will revolve around the lives of many animals, with our protagonists being (you guessed it) the Fox and the Bird. You’ll meet some very intriguing characters and the introductions will begin even sooner than you think.

Opeth was formed in 1990 in Stockholm, Sweden, by David Isberg. Isberg invited Mikael Åkerfeldt (of the recently disbanded band Eruption) to join Opeth.

Ghost announced Phantomime in early April. The 5-track EP features covers of songs by Television, The Stranglers, Iron Maiden, Tina Turner and Genesis' "Jesus He Knows Me," which was released when the set was first announced.

Robb Weir is never a man to take what he has for granted.
