Working on a new album with composer Philip Glass is a dream collaboration for Brisbane-based musician Tenzin Choegyal. Choegyal, who came to Australia as a refugee, has made a name for himself as a bit of a world music star. His friendship and collaborations with revered American composer Philip Glass has been a meaningful journey together. Glass, now 88, is a Tibetan Buddhist, like Choegyal, although Glass is more devout and spiritually accomplished, insists Choegyal.

Benjamin Britten first met cellist Mstislav Rostropovich in 1960 at the London premiere of Shostakovich's Cello Concerto No. 1, sparking a deep friendship that inspired Britten to compose several major cello works for him, including the Cello Sonata (1961), Cello Symphony (1962-63), three Solo Cello Suites (1964, 1967, 1971-74), and Tema "Sacher" (1976). The document also profiles Norwegian cellist Amalie Stalheim (b. 1993), a leading interpreter of both classical and contemporary music, known for commissioning new works, performing with major European orchestras, and founding the Classical Link mentoring program to support young musicians.

For Quatuor Arod, the six string quartets in Haydn’s opus 76 “represent the apogee of the Classical style, but they are also ageless, presenting almost infinite possibilities”. This Haydn project – the Paris-based quartet’s first Erato recording of works from the late 18th century – has been close to Arod's heart for a long time.

Eusexua Afterglow (stylised as EUSEXUA Afterglow) is the upcoming fourth studio album by the English singer FKA Twigs. It is scheduled to be released on 14 November 2025 through Young and Atlantic Records, and has been preceded by two singles "Cheap Hotel" and "Predictable Girl". Initially conceived as a deluxe edition of Eusexua (2025), it eventually evolved to a standalone work conceived as a sequel to FKA Twigs's previous album.
