A real lost legacy of West Coast girl pop from the 60s – served up by the lovely Clinger Sisters – four gals with a Mormon background, but who ended up working with help from Kim Fowley, Curt Boettcher, and other Cali pop giants! The girls only issued a few singles back in the day, and this set corrects that lack with a stunning amount of unissued material – more than enough to have the Clinger Sisters going head to head with other warm harmony pop acts of the time! There's a charm here that resonates strongly with Free Design or Roger Nichols & The Small Circle Of Friends, but most tunes have a bit more bite as well – and the tracks are a mix of very cool covers mixed with a lot of unusual material too – served up in a set list that includes "Don't Come In My World", "Bread & Butter", "How About Him", "Gonna Have A Good Time", "Something Here In My Heart", "Why Do We Hurt The Ones We Love", "This Moment Of Softness", "Without Him", and "In Need Of A Friend". © 1996-2025, Dusty Groove, Inc.
