Paul McCartney and Wings will reissue their classic 1973 album, Band on the Run, for its 50th anniversary. Out February 2, 2024, the record will be expanded with two alternate versions: one in Dolby Atmos, the other “underdubbed,” meaning the orchestral parts have been removed. “This is Band on the Run in a way you’ve never heard before,” reads a quote attributed to McCartney in the press release. “When you are making a song and putting on additional parts, like an extra guitar, that’s an overdub. Well, this version of the album is the opposite, underdubbed.”

"New" (stylised as NEW) is the 16th solo studio album by Paul McCartney. The album was his first since 2007's "Memory Almost Full" to consist entirely of new compositions. The album was executive produced by Giles Martin, with production by Martin, Mark Ronson, Ethan Johns and Paul Epworth and it was mastered by Ted Jensen at Sterling Sound, New York. McCartney has stated that New was inspired by recent events in his life as well as memories of his pre-Beatles history. He added that some of the arrangements are unlike his usual rock recordings, and that he specifically sought out younger producers to work with. Hailed upon its release as "exquisitely crafted” by The New York Times and a "masterpiece” by Rolling Stone, Tug of War went to #1 in no less than nine countries. Now, "Tug of War" reissued as a 2-CD Special Edition comprised of the 2015 remix of the entire album, plus a second disc of bonus audio featuring eight previously unreleased demos of both album tracks and outtakes "Stop, You Don’t Know Where She Came From” and "Something That Didn’t Happen”, as well as demo and solo versions of "Ebony and Ivory” and more.

Paul McCartney was commissioned to compose this four-movement orchestral ballet score by the New York City Ballet. While he was not a newcomer to classical music, "Ocean's Kingdom" marks McCartney's first foray into the world of ballet music. This deluxe edition includes a second album of the entire ballet performed live by the New York City Ballet Orchestra, conducted by Fayçal Karoui, recorded at the ballet's premiere in 2011.

Recorded throughout the band's Wings Over America U.S. tour dates earlier that Spring, the album reached #1 in the US in early 1977.
