Erratics & Unconformities is the first album by Craven Faults. It follows three EPs: Netherfield Works, Springhead Works and Nunroyd Works. Real-time journeys across decades and continents, and swathes of post-industrial northern Britain.

"Odeyalo" is a Russian word that means "blanket". This blanket is made from many rags. It's hard to tell where one ends and the other begins, but the main thing is that you can cover yourself with this blanket. Foresteppe is the musical project by Egor Klochikhin, artist and history teacher from Russia. Foresteppe's music is a constant experiment with the sounds of tape cassettes, acoustic instruments, field recordings and electronics. Detailed sound collages by foresteppe explore the space of history and memory, as well as the themes of nostalgia and trauma.

Pictures of Echoes is an intimate answer to Beside Herself, the 2018 anthology of music from Michele Mercure’s self-produced and distributed cassettes. Pictures of Echoes picks up where Beside Herself left off, collecting key moments from Mercure’s solo releases and collaborative, cross-disciplinary work, and restoring the recordings for a new digital age while employing the medium which originally transported these sounds.

There‘s an incredible sense of occasion when Lindstrøm performs at home. Even when he’s merely parading through a slew of his definitive hits, Norwegian audiences, and especially those in Oslo, will gather in large numbers for the Space Disco pioneer and one of Oslo’s musical treasures.

Can we find a tactile ground, an animal surface upon which to calibrate our humanity? Skin telegraphs sensation from air, filtered from distant worlds. Language constricts our sense of self to an illusion of separation. The verb of living, flux and transmutation, expands outward from the middle, concentric ripples on a pond. We drop through the surface, pebbles tossed from the shore.

Inspired by Stuart Hyatt’s audio field recordings, musicians from around the world have contributed complex sonic narratives under the Field Works banner. Each album begins with Hyatt’s samples and soundscapes from a particular time and location, weaving them into musical phrases and ultimately into song cycles intended to give the listener a heightened and more nuanced sense of place.
