Chet Baker Flipped is a collaborative compilation and remix project spearheaded by the artist Ornithology. Released in June 2026, the project reimagines Chet Baker’s iconic jazz catalog, blending vintage bebop and cool jazz with modern lofi, hip-hop, and downtempo electronic beats.

Acid Jazz presents the second volume of the Jazz Sessions series with the first album from the Matt Berry Trio, with Matt Berry joined by long-time collaborators Phill Scragg and Graham Mann on ‘Everything’s Peachy’. This is an exciting leftward turn by Matt, taking a break from his songwriting, leading the trio to visit some of his jazz, modern classical and electronic influences.

"From Then Til Now" is a new beginning for Grammy Award Nominated songwriter and multi-instrumentalist, Christopher Michael Stevens (trumpet, vocals, keyboards, production). It’s a story that’s been brewing over his entire life and is informed by many years of making music across numerous genres and generations with some of the best artists and musicians in the business. This life journey combines Jazz, Gospel, Pop and Poetry into an intimate collection of works through the lens of faith and hope.

Lithic is a cave borne out of emotions and elemental forces. Sound and existential thought echo through its chasms and ancient history lingers within the stone. It is fractured by age, eroded by weather and awakened by voice, body and breath. It traces sound back to its primal origins, unearthing music that is summoned from beneath the ground and from the darkest parts of ourselves.

Following the international acclaim and German Jazz Award-winning success of their 2025 debut album, 'MYT', Berlin-based group Moses Yoofee Trio now return with their new EP, 'CHASING LIGHT'. Across six tracks, the group distils the live energy of hours spent in their Neukölln rehearsal room, delivering their most instinctive and infectiously unrestrained record to date.

The Bells of Basal Sliding was initially composed for a dance performance for the choreographer Kathryn Alter and presented in a pop-up dance performance space on east 7th street and avenue B in New York City in 2022. Since this original performance I reorchestrated the score and recorded it on many different modular and analogue synthesizers and had the Paris based saxophone player and Buchla specialist Francesco Geminiani join me on the piece. The work is intended to unfold as a slow reflection on the effect and complexities of our current climate reality and rising sea levels. This was discussed when creating the piece with Alaskan native Kathryn Alter.

Ambient Library Music for Woodwind and Synthesiser. A 9 track album inspired by a birthday card Greg's 4 year old son Leo drew for his mum earlier this year. This album is an aural delight of unusual sounds. Kind of like a mix of Satoshi & Makoto, Hiroshi Yoshimura, Hiroki Kikuta and the Karl Jenkins and Mike Ratledge soundtrack to 80's children's Television show 'Button Moon'.

His first solo album Personal Piano was nominated for the Spellemannprisen in 2016 and now the sequel Lokalt Piano will be released in 2026. He has participated in several bands and on around 150 albums, including A-ha, In the Country, The National Bank, Solveig Slettahjell Slomo Quintet, Susanne Sundfør, Arve Henriksen, Thomas Dybdahl, Martin Hagfors, Ingrid Olava, The Budding Rose, Marit Larsen, Nils Petter Molvær, Shining, Jaga Jazzist, Benedicte Maurset and Susanna and the Magical Orchestra.

Vladislav Delay, primarily known as a highly regarded electronic music innovator, steps ahead with his acoustic jazz quintet, releasing "vd5" on We Jazz Records, 8th May. Echoing the forward-looking vd musical vision always ahead of the curve, the new album does not fit into any specific category, forging a path of its own across the 10 tracks. Recorded at Candybomber Studio in Berlin, the album brings vd together with Maria Bertel, Lucio Capece, Derek Shirley and Max Loderbauer. This is shape-shifting, elastic music that exists left of any given timeline.

Long-running jazz, soul, and funk project Nostalgia 77 is the work of British producer, composer and guitarist Benedic Lamdin. Since 2022, he has been blending vintage gear, techniques and sounds with hip-hop production and electronic synths on the likes of Try Thoughts. When The Light's Gone is a reflective set of simple, primary-coloured songs after a period away from personal releases (we hear another album is also planned this year). This one reunites him with Berlin-based singer Yosa, whose earlier collaborations with Nostalgia 77 were hugely popular. Their chemistry is close, with Lamdin describing the record as carrying a "dreamlike, childlike" quality influenced by the transition into family life. A lovely, luminous listen.

Matt Gold and Dustin Laurenzi present Devotional Fade, a collaborative record of electroacoustic rhythmic improvisations – equal parts meditation and dance, released on We Jazz Records, 24th April. Laurenzi and Gold, key collaborators in the Chicago creative scene and with genre spanning artists such as Bill Callahan and Makaya McCraven, step forward here with a major artistic statement, a product of extended improv sessions capturing the duo’s hypnotic interplay. This is the sound of two of Chicago’s most vibrant instrumental voices listening deeply, communing in sound.

A proud exponent of the São Paulo scene known for its subversive, alternative music underbelly, Naná Rizinni is a drummer, producer, and composer who bridges improvisatory flavours with progressive electronics, Brazilian rhythms, and expansive textures. Now based in London after making the move across continents in 2020, her new album ‘Epiblast’ chronicles a journey of transformation, rebirth, and personal evolution. The record will be released digitally and on vinyl on Friday, 24th April, via Bridge The Gap.

On January 23rd they shared the powerful new song Call To The Void the title track from their new EP, with the tunes incessant anthemic groove taking its inspiration from from the darker, untamed side within us all.

Al Wahem ("The Illusion") is the new full-length release by PRAED, the Swiss–Lebanese duo of Raed Yassin and Paed Conca. Recorded between Beirut and Berlin, the album returns to the group’s central aesthetic: a rhythm-driven weave of Egyptian shaabi, electronics, improvisation and the gritty pulse of street-level sound. Nearly twenty years into the project, PRAED have distilled their approach into four pieces that subtly shift the listener’s bearings, reordering grooves and fragments until familiar elements take on new identities.

Dreamweavers II sees Mark de Clive-Lowe reunited with Italian rhythm masters Andrea Lombardini and Tommaso Cappellato for the next chapter in their electro-acoustic trio journey.
