This album is a collections of compositions for tenor sax, recorded with different musicians I have been so lucky to work with over both short and long periods. It´s not a best of album, but it points out some new directions in my music. Even if songs like „Rit again“ goes way back, the time frame of recording this material is 2017-2022.

Philip Glass Solo was recorded at a time when the world was undergoing a major shift—for Glass, that shift manifested in going from a busy tour and premiere schedule to time spent at home during the COVID-19 pandemic. The storied musician dedicated this time to revisiting some of his older piano music, occasionally reacquainting himself with these old friends, playing them for an audience of one in his home studio in New York.

Pianist Noah Haidu sees a certain irony in his current recorded output. “I love composing but improvisation has always been my greatest passion.
