SUNSTORM, a project originally designed to showcase a musical style similar to singer Joe Lynn Turner’s Melodic Rock/AOR roots, now has a new face fronting the band in the form of Lords of Black and Rainbow singer Ronnie Romero. Romero’s debut album with Sunstorm, “Afterlife” will be released on March 12, 2021.

Former Styx frontman Dennis DeYoung is back with his sixth original solo studio, album "26 East: Volume 1.” “26 East” was the address where DeYoung grew up in Roseland on the far south side of Chicago. This is where Styx was formed in his basement in 1962. Across the street lived the Panozzo twins, John and Chuck, who along with DeYoung would go on to form the nucleus of the band. The cover artwork features three locomotives traveling through space, representing the original members leaving Chicago on their journey to the stars.

Long Island’s Magic Dance will return with their new album, “Remnants” on December 4, 2020. This album offers up more of the band’s signature ‘80s influenced sound that they are now known for, but at the same time brings a distinct contemporary edge. Performed with absolute genuine emotion and conviction, it’s hard not to be swept up and carried away in these mesmerizing songs. Melodic rock heroes Unruly Child return with their new album “Our Glass House”. The group, in its constant state of evolution, has generated an exciting new album reflecting its musical roots in contemporary and classic rock. With the return of the core original members of Marcie Free, Bruce Gowdy, and Guy Allison, the band has discovered that while time may pass, some things never change. For long-time fans of the band, this is a crucial entry in the Unruly Child discography and for melodic rock fans unfamiliar with the band, this is a wonderful entry point.

Dukes of the Orient will finally release their eagerly anticipated second album, “Freak Show” on August 7, 2020. The band’s sophomore album follows their impressive self-titled debut, which successfully launched the new international AOR with a touch of Mid-Atlantic Prog band.
