Today, Robert Plant announces the release of Saving Grace: the first album featuring a new band of distinguished players, which he calls “a song book of the lost and found.” Arriving September 26 on Nonesuch Records, the genesis of Saving Grace began during the lockdown in “The Shire,” when Plant’s customary wandering was all but forbidden. While his recent adventures have centred around Nashville, having reunited with Alison Krauss for 2021’s chart-topping, multi GRAMMY-nominated Raise The Roof, it was in the English countryside that Robert Plant connected closely to this diverse group of musicians, who through their own experiences had a shared lean towards his much-loved corners of evocative song. Together, Plant and Saving Grace – vocalist Suzi Dian, drummer Oli Jefferson, guitarist Tony Kelsey, banjo and string player Matt Worley, cellist Barney Morse-Brown – have spent the past six years growing into a wide-ranging workshop of styles and personalities, weaving through time and circumstance with joy and abandon.

"Babe!" is the debut studio album by the Dutch girl pop group Babe, released in 1980 on the Philips label. The record is stylistically rooted in Euro-pop with elements of disco and electronic music, which was characteristic of that period. The album was produced by Peter Koelewijn, a well-known Dutch musician and producer.

Before its release in 1963, the composer Antonio Carlos “Tom” Jobim was already known as one of the architects of bossa-nova, a new style of music which was beginning to gain traction a few years beforehand in Brazil, with (amongst others) musician João Gilberto and the poet Vinícius de Moraes at the forefront. Their work on the soundtrack for the film Orfeu Negro propelled this music to worldwide exposure. But for Jobim, it’s The Composer of Desafinado, Plays that would go on to unfurl a red carpet for him across North America. It’s his first album recorded under his own name, and his first release in the United States. Jobim takes on the classics: The Girl from Ipanema, Agua de Beber, Desafinado, Jazz Samba, Chega de Saudade… all songs which ooze elegance, sensuality and sleepy groove.

Indie-pop band Saint Motel has announced the release of their new album, Afterglow, on October 10, 2025. This record marks the band's first fully independent project after 13 years with Atlantic Records. The lead single, "Wait & See," is already available for streaming. The album Afterglow serves as a conceptual continuation of their previous work, Symphony in the Sky, completing the musical and emotional story that began with it. The band is also continuing to tour extensively with shows scheduled in Europe, Australia, and Mexico.

Veirs will release an album capturing a live performance of her collaboration with a 32 teenagers from a school choir in Angouleme, France. Veirs and the choir performed together on May 24, 2025. Veirs will release the album worldwide on her own label Raven Marching Band.

In that spirit, Caught Light, Great Lake Swimmers' ninth album is perhaps their most nimble: be prepared, don't overthink, act fast. Completed in three days, Nashville-style, by producer Darcy Yates (Bahamas), Caught Light was captured in the shortest amount of time Dekker had ever spent making a record and is Great Lake Swimmers' most fully realized album in years.

On Disquiet, The Necks stretch their immersive, shape-shifting sound across three discs and more than three hours of labyrinthine, patient intensity. This is their twentieth studio recording and it marks the 39th year of the band’s existence. Meticulously recorded and sculpted, the four extended pieces on Disquiet see Tony Buck, Chris Abrahams, and Lloyd Swanton pushing at the outer edges of their collective intuition, building and unraveling hypnotic structures with microscopic focus. Present is the usual arsenal of piano, double bass, and drums, and all the in-between of sounds undefined and sources obscured. The music of The Necks has always carried a profound sense of shared responsibility –– between the players, of course, in their utter commitment to the improvisational –– but also between the work and its audience. With music so open, there are profound opportunities to choose: what to focus on, whether to focus at all, etc. Disquiet takes this further: there is no particular listening order prescribed. There is no “Disc 1, Disc 2, Disc 3.” The music itself seems to stretch time, and this presentation challenges ideas of sequencing. The Necks, one may argue, are a mode of discovery as much as they are a band.

The Complete Blue Note 45 Sessions is a compilation album by American saxophonist Ike Quebec. The album focuses on Quebec's 45 RPMs recorded between 1959 and 1962 and aimed at the juke box market. The songs were successful, marking the start of a comeback for the saxophonist who had fallen into obscurity since his early career in 1940s.
