The German star pianist Matthias Kirschnereit dedicates this album entirely to the piano cosmos of Richard Wagner​. Wagner himself wrote few works for solo piano, but he influenced many of his contemporaries and musical heirs with his work​.

Alpine folklore, Alpine jazz, yodeling funk, or Ukrainian folklore? What exactly are Tamara Lukasheva and Matthias Schriefl serving up on this album? And are they completely serious about it all? Some of it sounds like it’s being played and sung with a wink. Anyone who knows Matthias Schriefl, who was born in Allgäu and has been living in the Rhineland for quite some time now, is also familiar with his sometimes offbeat humor.

The renowned Genova & Dimitrov Piano Duo celebrates it's 30th anniversary in 2025. The duo has been honoured with numerous international awards and recordings. With the recording of all of Debussy's works in three volumes for piano duo, the Genova & Dimitrov Piano Duo is now appearing on the Oehms label. The programme includes both well-known and lesser-known works, some of which are versions of orchestral works such as the famous La Mer. The recording was made in co-operation with WDR Broadcast.

Jonah Jones was a jazz trumpeter who created concise versions of jazz and swing and jazz standards that appealed to a mass audience. In the jazz community, he is known for his work with Stuff Smith. He was sometimes referred to as "King Louis II", a reference to Louis Armstrong. Jones started playing alto saxophone at the age of 12 in the Booker T. Washington Community Center band in Louisville, Kentucky, before quickly transitioning to trumpet, where he excelled.

The second album from the Choir of St John’s with their new music director - Christopher Gray. "A Christmas Offering" is a 2025 album by the Choir of King's College London, conducted by Joseph Fort, featuring new works by composer Kristina Arakelyan. The album, released on the Signum Classics label, showcases Arakelyan's new compositions, including works like "O Adonai" and "Sanctus," with performances also featuring soprano Alice Platten and tenor Benjamin Miller.

Conceived against a backdrop of pandemic, political upheaval, climate crisis, and rising mental health struggles among the youth population, this collection of works is not a surrender to despair, but a search for meaning, resilience, and hope. Featuring powerful works by John Corigliano, Bryce Dessner, Esa-Pekka Salonen, Philip Glass, and Meredith Monk - alongside Tim's own deeply personal composition, Unraveling - this album is a journey through disintegration and renewal.

Irma Neumuller & Seth Sjostrom are two Swedish jazz musicians and composers based in Berlin. Their collaboration began as early as 2020 at Skurups Folk High School, where they quickly connected through their shared love of jazz and improvisation. In this project, they come together in an intimate duo setting, interpreting jazz standards, original compositions, and selected favourites from the Swedish pop and folk music repertoire. The contrasts between Irma and Seth–both as musicians and as individuals–are explored. The result is a unique and intimate sound that sheds new light on both the compositions and themselves. Over the past few years, Irma and Seth have performed in various ensembles across Sweden and the rest of Northern Europe, and both have made a name for themselves on the Nordic jazz scene.

Perhaps now overshadowed by his earlier ballet Checkmate, Miracle in the Gorbals was a tremendous hit for Bliss and the Sadler’s Wells Ballet company. First performed in 1944, it was repeated in every season through to 1950. Based on a scenario by Michael Benthall (inspired by Jerome K. Jerome and Dostoyevsky), the ballet features the appearance of a Christ-like figure amid Glasgow’s most infamous slum.

Rhythm has always been more than just for timekeeping. It is inherent to us, instinctive and ritualistic. It is the first communal act, shared before language. Rhythm has been the very core of what it means to be human, the backbone of a millennia of singing, dancing, human expression and interconnectedness. It is with this primal understanding that Munich-based percussionist Simon Popp approaches Trio, his new album and the first made in collaboration with two fellow percussionists, Sebastian Wolfgruber and Flurin Mück.

Forever Yours: The Farewell Performance captures highlights from two transcendent solo-piano concerts given just four months before the jazz icon Chick Corea’s passing. Made at Ruth Eckerd Hall in Clearwater, FL in October 2020, they would be the last public concerts Corea ever gave. Not long after these performances, his health suddenly declined, and in February 2021 the world lost one of its greatest musicians.
