Singer and guitarist Casey Costa, a new style of Brazilian Bossa, performs a wonderful collection of Antonio Carlos Jobim's works with a new sense of Bossa Nova!

Since his stunning debut in 1974 with the now world-famous audiophile recordings for the Three Blind Mice label, Japanese pianist Tsuyoshi Yamamoto has built a career that now spans four decades. This live set by the Yamamato Trio, recorded at Jazz Is in Yokohama on November 16, 2019, features "Gentle Blues", "Caravan", "Nature Boy", "Misty", "No Problem", "You Don't Know Me" and "Tanabatasama".

"Some time ago, Tetsuo Hara of Venus Records proposed the idea of recording a jazz standards album. FROM THEN TILL WHEN captures the very first time Sullivan, Philip, Willie, and I played together. We met at the studio, exchanged a few thoughts about the tunes, and started recording. The title reflects a journey—both personal and musical—connecting people, places, and experiences across time."

On 24th May, 2024, the exact day of its Golden Jubilee, DIAMOND DOGS will be issued as a limited edition 50th anniversary half-speed mastered LP and a picture disc LP pressed from the same master. The first single from the album, the aforementioned ‘REBEL REBEL’, reached number 5 in the UK and the album would also reach similar heights on both sides of the Atlantic reaching number 1 in the UK and number 5 in the USA.

USA was recorded towards the end of King Crimson’s final US tour of the 70s in June 1974.

Although they worked together intensively as members of the 1958-59 Miles Davis Sextet (also featuring John Coltrane in the frontline), Cannonball Adderley and Bill Evans only collaborated on three projects together without Miles.

The music on this album was inspired by the original Ska recordings coming out of Jamaicain the early to mid 1960s. In particular the fiery horns instrumentals played by musicians like Don Drummond, Tommy McCook, Roland Alphonso, Lester Sterling, Baba Brooks, Dizzy Moore, Lloyd Brevett, Ernest Ranglin, Jackie Mittoo, Lloyd Knibb, Drumbago to name just a few. Many of them were originally Jazz musicians and they played in groups like Prince Buster’s All Stars, The Skatalites, Baba Brooks’ Band, King Edwards’ Group and many more. This is Regarded as One of the Diamond Recordings in Both of the Artist's Respective Discographies and is Treasured by Many a Flamenco Music Fan.

La leyenda del tiempo is the tenth album by Spanish flamenco singer Camarón de la Isla, and the first one not to feature his long-time collaborator, guitarist Paco de Lucía. It is regarded as a turning point in the history of flamenco, contributing to the popularization of nuevo flamenco (new flamenco). A commercial failure due to its departure from traditional flamenco, which "scandalised purists", the album has received widespread critical acclaim.

First released in 2018, this album documents Camarón de la Isla and Tomatito's historic performance at the prestigious Montreux Festival, which took place on July 6, 1991. Produced by Quincy Jones, Claude Nobs, and Pino Sagliocco, the album contains the entire concert, approximately one hour long and featuring seven tracks, including a remarkable version of "Soy gitano." In the final part of the concert, the singer and guitarist are accompanied by El Pele, Charo Manzano, Moraíto Chico, and Tino di Geraldo.

12 years after his album entitled ‘Italian Virtuosi of the Chitarrone’ (BIS-1899), Jakob Lindberg returns to his magnificent theorbo, specially built for him by the luthier Michael Lowe, based on an instrument preserved in the Musée de la Musique in Paris. One of the most spectacular instruments of the early baroque owing to its length and great number of strings, the theorbo was originally designed to accompany the voice, but is also ideally suited to solo performance. For this disc, Lindberg has chosen pieces by Robert de Visée, one of the great French masters of the lute, theorbo and guitar repertoire and a favourite of Louis XIV.
