Film Fest Gent is releasing the album "Debbie Wiseman: Music for Film and Television," dedicated to the work of composer Debbie Wiseman, the guest of honour at the 2025 World Soundtrack Awards. The album features new studio recordings of her music for film and television, performed by the Brussels Philharmonic. The collection includes iconic pieces from projects such as "Wilde," "Father Brown," and "Wolf Hall," as well as re-recorded soundtracks from the films "Edie" and "To Olivia." Additionally, the album contains two previously unreleased compositions, including music for the 2023 coronation, and a solo piano performance by Wiseman herself.

Antonius Gerhardus Michael "Ton" Koopman is a Dutch conductor, organist, harpsichordist, and musicologist, primarily known for being the founder and director of the Amsterdam Baroque Orchestra & Choir.

"The Best of Col and Judy" is a compilation album featuring two Australian pop stars of the early 1960s, Col Joye and Judy Stone. Released in 1963 on the Festival Records label, the album is a collection of solo hits from each artist recorded prior to its release. Despite the joint title, the album does not contain any duets; each side is dedicated to one of the performers. The first side features tracks by Col Joye, a pioneer of Australian rock and roll, while the second side presents songs by Judy Stone, a popular singer of the same era. The album reflects the sound of early 60s Australian pop music, combining elements of rock and roll, teen pop, and traditional ballads.

On October 18, 2025, Volume 8 of the edition Johann Sebastian Bach: The First Cantata Year will be released by hänssler Classic. With this release, Hans-Christoph Rademann and the Gaechinger Cantorey focus on works that Bach composed between February and April 1724 for Estomihi, the Feast of the Annunciation, and the two Easter holidays. These stations mark key high points in the church year—from the Way to Jerusalem and the Annunciation to the joyous Easter celebrations. The performers include Catalina Bertucci (soprano), Miriam Feuersinger (soprano), Marie Henriette Reinhold (alto), Alex Potter (alto), Patrick Grahl (tenor), Tobias Berndt (bass), and Matthias Winckhler (bass). The recordings were made between March 19, 2023, and April 9, 2024, at concerts in Stuttgart and Arnstadt as part of the VISION.BACH series and the Thuringian Bach Weeks.

Washington, D.C.–based pianists—composer-performer Sam Post and his friend and colleague Ralitza Patcheva—have join forces to reimagine Bach’s iconic Well-Tempered Clavier. Their new recording, The Well-“Tampered” Clavier, Book 1, embraces the expressive possibilities of the modern piano and infuses the music with rhythmic vitality drawn from jazz, ragtime, folk, world music, and twentieth-century classical styles. In the Baroque era, improvising, ornamenting, and reshaping a composer’s original work was standard practice—much like jazz musicians do today. Post and Patcheva lean into that legacy, freely applying rhythmic variation without feeling constrained by the printed page. Post reflects, “Surely this is how Bach felt writing his music—every moment, every note a path chosen, leaving behind equally valid options, but together forming one coherent, human story.”

Can't Say I Ain't Country is the upcoming fourth studio album by American country music duo Florida Georgia Line. It is scheduled to be released on February 15, 2019, through the Big Machine Label Group. It includes the singles "Simple" and "Talk You Out of It", as well as the tracks "Colorado" and "Sittin' Pretty".

The very last day of recording the album that became checkmate, Ron Gallo wrote and recorded the title track. Which, in his words, half-jokingly, is "my first true love song that also happens to be the best love song ever written". It encapsulates the entire purpose of the album which takes his previous motto - "The world is fucked, but the universe is inside you" and changes it to "The world is ending, what can I hold on to?". After years of navigating artistic reinvention and resisting change, Ron Gallo arrives at his latest album, checkmate, with a newfound clarity and sense of purpose. Stripped down and direct, checkmate marks a reset: a shedding of old selves, old anger, and the need for introspection. Social commentary has always been a driving force behind Gallo’s music, and checkmate finds the bridge between personal inner dialogues and cultural analysis, grasping the vulnerability he once avoided.

For the 20th anniversary of their album Feels, the band Animal Collective will release two special editions on October 17. The first, Feels 20th Anniversary, is a reissue of the original album with an added bonus disc containing B-sides and previously unreleased demos. The second edition, FEELSLive 04/05, is a collection of live recordings from 2004-2005. From the age of five, when he began to play the violin, Giulini's musical education was expanded when he began to study at Italy's foremost conservatory, the Conservatorio Santa Cecilia in Rome at the age of 16.
