Theta Seven – OUA’s seventh and final album – arrives a shade under 3 years since its predecessor. These tracks were radically edited and collaged by Martin Archer, and finally overdubbed and arranged by Martin Archer and Jan Todd working in tandem to arrive at the seamless continuity of sound heard on the finished work.

OUA's 6th album collides a studio session of bass driven rhythms with a marathon free improvisation session - combined, sculpted and arranged into an ever morphing tapestry of new sounds from leftfield progressive music. Who is Mike Johnson, where did he come from and how is it possible that he has made one of 2026’s most ambitious, adventurous, and relevant releases? Co-founded in 1982 by Mike Johnson, Thinking Plague is a storied band, whose forty-five year history has seen it cleave consistently to the extreme limits of what is possible to do within rock music. Genre-defying and, above all, unique, Thinking Plague’s music can be described equally as post-rock and/or post-classical.

A journey through the musical life of Gary Young, the subject of the SXSW-winning documentary Louder Than You Think and the wild polymath best known as the original drummer for indie royalty Pavement: from early hardcore punk and post-punk recordings to the merry chaos of Hospital, whose ‘Plant Man’ ended up being an improbable MTV favorite. Original music created by Noah Georgeson and Edward W. Dahl is presented alongside ultra-rare Pavement live tracks and something quite special: a Gary Young-penned oddity that Gary’s old friend Scott ‘Spiral Stairs’ Kannberg turned into a suitably trippy musical track (spiced with some Stephen Malkmus feedback yowls), recorded for the movie shortly before Gary’s passing in August 2023. Proudly resistant to genres and conventions, the Louder Than You Think soundtrack is as complex, fun, puzzling and ultimately lovable as the alcohol-fuelled hippie who helped define the sound of all things lo-fi, indie rock and slacker in between headstands.

Famed and revered producer/bassist, Jah Wobble, makes his long awaited return to the postpunk sound that he helped birth in the pioneering Public Image Ltd.! Co-written, produced and performed with Jon Klein (Siouxsie & The Banshees / Specimen) whose guitar work makes him the perfect partner for this project!
