Road to Utopia is the thirty-first album by space rock band Hawkwind, released in 2018. It features new acoustic versions of the band's 1970s repertoire with two new compositions. The group's line-up had stabilised for some time with guitarist/singer Dave Brock, drummer Richard Chadwick, singer Mr Dibs and bassist Niall Hone being joined by bassist Haz Wheaton and guitarist Magnus Martin .

Relapse Records proudly announces the 25th anniversary reissue of CAVE IN’s monumental Jupiter. Named one of the best metal albums of the decade by Decibel Magazine, Jupiter marks a significant shift in CAVE IN’s musical direction that sees the band embark on a post-hardcore space odyssey. Perhaps the finest record of CAVE IN’s storied career, Jupiter sounds as fresh and as vital as ever. Jupiter is available as a standalone LP, as well as a deluxe 2xCD and 3xLP box set, all remastered by James Plotkin. The 2xCD includes the full album alongside a special live set recorded for broadcast on Boston’s legendary rock radio station WBCN in October of 2000.

The first of Rolf-Ulrich Kaiser's exploitive cosmic space rock albums is also the best, and certainly kicks the seat out of the many jam bands that arose in the '90s. Unlike most "super groups" who collapse under the weight of their own hubris, the Cosmic Jokers, who were never really a proper group anyway, almost improve upon the sound of their precursors, namely Manuel Göttsching and Klaus Schulze from acid-jam-supreme Ash Ra Tempel, and Jurgen Dollase and Harald Grosskopf from blitzkrieg psychedelic Wallenstein.

The second Cosmic Jokers album, though originally not released under their name, offers another pair of sidelong roller-coaster rides into the cosmic void from the same musicians as the first album, with added vocals from guitarist Göttsching's girlfriend, Rosi Muller, and producer Kaiser's girlfriend Gille Lettmann. Whereas the Ash Ra Tempel elements were more dominant on the earlier record, this one relies more heavily on the conventional psychedelic sounds of the Wallenstein faction, though not to the point where it loses that loose Ash Ra vibe.

This Finnish group was born form a jamming music project MYSTERY SPACE, founded at city of Turku in year 2005. In year 2010 this instrumental group has line-up of guitar (Tuomas), saxophone & perc (Sini), keyboards & voices (Teppo), bass (Ville) and drums (Marko). As a team they head towards the realms of heavy riffed space rock directions, catching along musical ideas from diverse array of psychedelic vintage influences to their unique and interesting personal sound. The melodic saxophone and rhythm sector counterbalance this cosmic sound with more classical jazz presence. Music consists from both predefined structures and more open sequences for interactive improvisation, distributing much musical information and several emotional elements in a professionally balanced and well-matured form.

Recorded in what appears to be the engine room of their spaceship, SLIFT rip through a 70 minute set inside the ultra-high voltage electron microscope at the National Institute of Applied Sciences’s CEMES Laboratory in Toulouse, FR.
