Released on May 1, 2026, via Digilio Publishing, Smooth Jazz Colors 2026 is an expansive 50-track collection from Italian pianist, composer, and producer Francesco Digilio, a musician who has scored over 1,000 albums across smooth jazz, chill, and soundtrack genres during his 30-year career. The album showcases Digilio’s pleasant and sophisticated style—influenced by classical masters like Chopin and Debussy as well as smooth jazz icons —across a wide emotional and rhythmic palette.

That is because he often appeared on TV with pop singers like Kiyani, Barry Manilow, Rossa, Tim and others. Many of his works combine elements of traditional culture in line with efforts to incorporate elements of modern and traditional Indonesian music. 'Between the Sheets' sold over 500,000 copies in the United States and thus certified gold by the RIAA. 'Between the Sheets', the popular single, written by the Isley Brothers, features Fourplay members Bob James (piano), Lee Ritenour (guitar), Nathan East (lead vocals and bass) and Harvey Mason (drums) with guests, soul singer Chaka Khan on lead vocals, backed-up by Philip Bailey and Phil Perry.

Jazz Hands is Bob James' third outing for evosound, following in the wake of 2018's Espresso and 2022's Feel Like Makin' LIVE. Produced by the pianist with his manager Sonny Abelardo, the ten-track album was mostly recorded during the months of the Covid pandemic and featured James in a number of different musical settings.

Out of the Shadows is an album by American pianist Dave Grusin. The album consists mostly of original, pop-influenced jazz compositions. Released by Arista and Grusin's own GRP Records in 1982, it experienced favorable critical reception and became a commercial success, spawning the single "She Could Be Mine" and becoming one of his highest-charting albums when it peaked at number four on Billboard's Contemporary Jazz Albums chart and number 88 on the all-genre Billboard 200. It continues to be retrospectively well regarded by critics.
