China Moses - Nightintales (2017)

Her 6th studio album, Nightingales, is scheduled for released on march 31st 2017 (MadeInchina Productions / MPS Records) and sees China Moses team her songwriting talents with UK producer and songwriter, Anthony Marshall (Craig David ), who surrounded her with the “crème de la crème” of British musicians from the Soul Jazz scene: Luke Smith – Piano, Jerry Brown – Drums, “Level” Neville Malcolm – Bass.

China: “The world of “Jazz” that I live in is not dead. It is very much alive and ever evolving across the world. I don’t really care for the term “Jazz”. It’s to heavy, its weight overpowering all musical variations that have come since the term was created. Jazz does not have to be celebrated in the past. It can be celebrated in the present and the future with a high reverence and respect to the greatness created before us. This is America’s “classical” music. This is a universal swing that we all, as music lovers, have rooted deep within us.
