When Ella Fitzgerald spring of 1974 with great success and toured Europe nahodioas in Germany, ZDF TV took the opportunity to invite her to a group in a recording studio in Cologne. The group were well-known musicians such as pianist Tommy Flanagan and trumpeter Roy Eldridge . Studio recording provided an opportunity to focus on the faces and features of performance - for example , at times, Ella seems uncertain and bored audience , and her voice , especially in the beginning , it sounds a little rough around the edges.
