Horisont's "Sudden Death" is an explosion of complex and sophisticated rock songs, and it took no less than three years to create this affair of the heart. The result is an album full of hymnic stadium rock refrains, twin guitars and piano-heavy rock that is both fresh and catchy and intoxicating.
In the past, the band has earned a special place not only in the hearts of the harder underground, which frenetically celebrates the band and their energetic live shows on an international level. Singer Axel explains: "Our mission was to record an album that we like above all else, not one that others expect from us. It is precisely this carefree and passionate attitude that Horisont have to thank for the fact that their electrifying music hits the nerve of the listeners: with a raised middle finger and just as one would expect from Rock'n'Roll. They draw their influences not least from such greats as Deep Purple, Black Sabbath, Cactus and Thin Lizzy, leaving no one cold - you soon catch yourself singing along one song after the other. Axel's lyrics get under your skin: "Sail On" accompanies you through the hard times and culminates in the catchy "Hold On", a life-affirming anthem that celebrates the core of Horisont. Their music guarantees one thing above all: once you've enjoyed it, you're definitely addicted.
