Zahlreiche Besprechungen und Berichte erscheinen zu dem Debüt, die CD erreicht binnen Kürze sensationell den Platz eins der deutschen Klassik-Charts. Mit dieser Einspielung der Goldbergvariationen von Johann Sebastian Bach ist dem jungen deutschen Pianisten eine ganz eigenwillige neue Interpretation dieses bedeutenden Stückes gelungen.
