Classic era MSG live on German TV from 1981! Filmed on January, 24th 1981 at the Markthalle in Hamburg, this concert presents the first MSG album almost in its entirely (and almost in the same running order) including the two greatest songs Michael Schenker has created with UFO: ""Doctor Doctor"" and ""Rock Bottom"".
I loved this DVD from the moment it started playing. Took me straight back to 1980 when I was living a brilliant youth. Ahh. Schenker is in top form and looking cool. The band is on fire with great performances from all concerned. The highlight for me though is the great Cozy Powell. My first drum hero, any footage I can get is a blessing. Amazing that the Schenker studio songs were played by Simon Phillips on record but Cozy rips the rock n roll into them without losing any of the songs finesse or feel. Lets face it Cozy and Simon are poles apart as drummers go. Only highlights Cozys greatness for me. A must for Schenker fans. A must for Cozy fans. Brilliant. Sound and video are good for the times and translate well. This DVD rocks. ~Amazon
