Professional Career
Recorded the first song, Sound of train in 1962. In Three Points, integrated, along with Wagner Tiso, the group W's Boys, who played at dances. Milton transcended anonymity as an LP recording singer in Rio de Janeiro in 1966. IN 1967, the second portion of the cover disc and Milton Tamba Trio: Milton Nascimento went into the studio accompanied by "Tamba Trio" in Rio de Janeiro in 1967 to record their first album. The Great Circus Mystic
Originally designed for mounting Ballet Theatre Ballet Teatro Guaira (Curitiba, 1982), the show The Great Circus Mystical was released in 1983. Milton joined the select group of interpreters of Brazilian music that traveled the country for two years showing the project, one of the largest and most elaborate theatrical already presented to an audience of over 200 000 people. Beatrice Milton performed the song, composed by the duo Chico Buarque and Edu Lobo. The show tells the love story between an aristocrat and an acrobat and the saga of the Austrian family that owns the Grand Circus Knie, who roamed the world in the early decades of the century.
Northeast already

The style was opened with the unforgettable interpretation of the song Trawler (Edu Lobo / Vinicius de Moraes), by newcomer Elis Regina, in the premiere of I Festival de Música Popular Brasileira. So far, Milton has recorded thirty-four albums. He sang with dozens of other artists, including Angra, Maria Bethania, Elis Regina, Gal Costa, Jorge Ben Jor, Caetano Veloso, Simone, Chico Buarque, Clementina de Jesus, Gilberto Gil, Beto Guedes, Paul Simon, Peter Gabriel (who co -wrote the song Breath after Breath of Duran Duran), Herbie Hancock, Quincy Jones and Jon Anderson. Elis Regina elected as the great muse for whom he composed several songs. The daughter of Elis Regina, Maria Rita, whose career was catapulted by the godfather Milton Nascimento with participation in Pieta album, singing the tracks Voa Bicho, Voices of the Wind and Tristesse.

In 2010 Milton was honored in the International Choir Festival (FIC) from Belo Horizonte. Closing the festival Milton was present and received a tribute by over a thousand voices sang a composition of Brant and Leonardo Cunha "Voice Choir" made especially for the recipient.
