Modern soul both old and new – that is, a range of current tracks, plus a few more classics – all wrapped together with a beautifully warm vibe overall! The package follows strongly in the spirit of the other Soul Togetherness collections – and although there's a date attached to the title, the music itself is really timeless – the sort of tracks you'll be digging again and again for years to come! Even on the new tracks, there's plenty of 70s elements firmly in place – great instrumentation, deeply soulful vocals, and production that's tight, but never too commercial.
