In 1974, Bad Company released their debut album, which proved to be nothing short of excellent. The band was the first band to be signed to Led Zeppelin's Swan Song record label (apart from Zeppelin themselves), and this helped to boost their popularity. The fact that the band could be considered a supergroup, because they were composed of fairly popular musicians also helped to boost their popularity. Vocalist Paul Rodgers and drummer Simon Kirke came from Free, guitarist Mick Ralphs came from Mott The Hoople, and bassist Boz Burell came from King Crimson.
This album has met my approval almost every day for over 8 years and i'm sure you won't be disappointed.
