One Fierce Beer Run was filmed around the world during 1996 and 1997, before the Bloodhound Gang enjoyed their moment of real global stardom with the heroically puerile Hooray for Boobies album. The videos, such as they are, are for earlier tracks, including "I Wish I Was Gay So I Could Get Chicks" and "Your Only Friends Are Make Believe", none of which, sadly, are as good as their titles. But the bulk of One Fierce Beer Run consists of home movies, which is a shame since, given that they are essentially a detention class with a recording contract, the Bloodhound Gang are clever and funny people and it's hard for the viewer not to feel, as their despairing lecturers surely did, that they could have done better.
