"Stash was Bongzilla's debut full length after a rash of singles on smaller labels. Sludgy, grim, like Buzzoven covering Sleep. The Sabbath influence is apparent, as the riffs are full of bluesy undertones. Great lyrics about the state of drug legislation in the US and a crackpot rhythm section add to the appeal. Muleboy's vocals aren't for everyone, but in my opinion they work…he kind of reminds me of Kevin Sharp from Brutal Truth and it cuts through the mix. "
