| “ | Banba in 1993 was a more pop influenced record, whilst still retaining the Celtic influences that are the hallmark of Clannad's music. This is a blend of the new sound and the old and really shows how the band's songwriting has matured. Banba is in fact a romantic mythical name for Ireland, which is a reflection of how their musical journey has completed a full circle.
