The Dave Brubeck Quartet - Time Out

Posted By: bonomau
Hi, guys. May this be my first post of many.

This is the ultra famous and celebrated Time Out jazz record on a brand new 20-bit remastered version from Columbia. I had the acetate version and this cd really does it justice. Unfortunately my scanner is down, so I cannot provide covers. This is an amazing record, it will put your ears to the test since it features countless measures (for instance, Take 5 is in 5/4ths and other songs have tempo changes in the same song). You can burn it with nero or EAC (cue has CD-text info) as well.
Hope you enjoy it!

1. "Blue Rondo à la Turk" –6:44
2. "Strange Meadow Lark" –7:22
3. "Take Five" –5:24
4. "Three to Get Ready" –5:24
5. "Kathy's Waltz" –4:48
6. "Everybody's Jumpin'" –4:23
7. "Pick Up Sticks" –4:16

All pieces composed by Dave Brubeck, except "Take Five" by Paul Desmond (and material from Mozart in "Blue Rondo à la Turk"). The album was recorded over three sessions that took place on June 25, July 1, and August 18, 1959.
