Doyle Bramhall - "Bird Nest On The Ground"

MP3 Stereo 256 Kbps | Genre: Blues

Bramhall was in on the ground floor when blue-eyed soul brothers put rock & roll on the back burner and turned their attention to the grittier side of the street. From the early '60s on, there isn't an inside player in Texas who wasn't aware of the singing drummer's influence. Everyone from Billy Gibbons to Stevie Vaughan on up to Lou Ann Barton and the young blues crowd in Austin and beyond have gone to school on Doyle Bramhall's way with words.

His debut album, Bird Nest On The Ground, has been a long time coming, but it's finally here, and all we have to do is listen. The soul of the man says it all.

And, NO! that is'nt Stevie Ray on Vocals, although he does play guitar on 1 song "Too Sorry".......all songs sung by Doyle Bramhall
