В 1996 году во время британского тура Deep Purple состоялась первая историческия встреча между музыкантами группы и представителями старейшего фэн-клуба DPAS, который, в свою очередь, проводил свою первую международную конференцию.
Событие было отмечено выходом сингла, на котором группа записала замечательный 10-минутный jam session и свое приветствие поклонникам.
Из-за контрактных обязательств этот сингл не мог быть выпущен под маркой "Deep Purple", почему и было придумано юмористическое название "Dick Pimple", а музыканты подписались вымышленными именами, к придумыванию которых явно приложил руку Гиллан. На обложке изображена реклама в стиле 50-х годов, из которой следует, что "Dick Pimple" - это название некоего косметического карандаша для удаления прыщей.
Сингл выпущен ограниченным тиражом и может быть приобретен только через DPAS.

The single, an extended live jam recorded in Orlando during 1995, was issued solely to fan club members and issued under the title of DICK PIMPLE so as to avoid the legal wrath of their record company RCA. The band members, according to the sleeve credits, adopted the nom de plumes of Mo St. Severe, Udo Glasnodol, Rev. Reg Goole, Diana Spencer and Nigel Nail.
