Umbria Jazz (2017)

Per il terzo anno consecutivo Warner Music pubblica la compilation ufficiale del festival Jazz più importante in Italia, nonché uno dei più apprezzati a livello internazionale. La doppia raccolta presenta alcuni tra i protagonisti dell’edizione che si terrà a Perugia a partire dal 7 al 16 Luglio. Tra questi, e solo per citarne alcuni, ricordiamo: Paolo Fresu, Gianluca Petrella, Jamie Cullum, Danilo Rea, Fabrizio Bosso, Jacob Collier, Hiromi, Kenny Barron, Wayne Shorter, Dee Dee Bridgewater e molti altri ancora! 2 ore di musica di altissimo livello per celebrare Umbria Jazz, The Summer Festival!

In Perugia from July 7 to 15, 2017. Umbria, the green heart of Italy, has been a home to that incredible music called jazz for almost forty years. Back in 1973, the year the festival started, no one could have imagined the role that it would go on to play on the music scene, in Italy and abroad. Today Umbria Jazz is a name that is known and respected all over the world, an important stage in the career of any artist, and a point of reference in the world of music and music festivals. Since that first edition of the festival many things have changed, but not the festival’s spirit and identity that, together with its top-quality programmes, have been at the heart of its success.

This year’s lineup for the Umbria Jazz Festival boasts such international stars as Brian Wilson, Wayne Shorter, Hiromi, Jamie Cullum and many others……..
