Forgiven Rival is an Australian Post-Hardcore band from Melbourne, Victoria. They formed in early 2005 in Simeon Dux's garage in the suburbs of Melbourne. They stormed onto the Melbourne underground scene in late 2005 with their 2-track self-titled demo. They released their Debut EP, The Symphony of Words independently, and they have completed recording of their debut album, 'This Is A War' which was released on February 16th, 2008.
