    Доброго дня всем. Вот решил представить одного из моих любимых музыкантов Марка Нопфлера вместе с не менее уважаемым мной Четом Эткинсом. Хотя в представлении они вряд ли нуждаются.

    “...Участвуя в проектах Эткинса, Нопфлер очень сдружился с Четом и они решают выпустить совместный альбом Neck And Neck. Акустический кантри стиль не всем пришёлся по вкусу, но всё же, это был прекрасный проект, в котором было больше музыки, чем слов. Похожие стили игры Марка и Чета прекрасно дополняли друг друга, сплетаясь в причудливые вязи безупречных мелодий, что настраивают слушателя на лирический лад. Нопфлер и Эткинс решают не записывать своих песен для этого проекта, а позаимствовать их у талантливых кантри-блюз-музыкантов. Но, в качестве финального трека Марк записал свою отличную песню The Next Time I'm In Town. Двум гениям помогают, кроме неизвестных музыкантов, всё те же "старые знакомые" - Винс Гилл (Vince Gill) - бэк-вокал, Пол Фрэнклин - "стальная" гитара, педабро, добро и Гай Флетчер - клавишные, бас-гитара, ударные. Альбом вышел в ноябре 1990 года и имел большой успех.©”
