Novi fosili is a Croatian pop band popular in 70's and 80's. The group was formed in Zagreb in 1969. However, their first successes came in 1976 when the composer Rajko Dujmić joined the band. That same year Novi fosili played the Split music festival, where their song Diridonda soon became a hit throughout the country. The first singer was Đurđica Barlović, in 1984 replaced by Sanja Doležal. The group was disbanded in 2001, serving as a staging area for many successful solo careers. Rajko Dujmić later became one of the most prolific Croatian songwriters. The groups's singer, Sanja Doležal, returned to the spotlight with her talk show Sanja.
